We are currently looking for QC Inspector with CWB Level 2 certification for shop inspection in Fort Saskatchewan, AB

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all ITP stages are followed and complied with.
- Structural steel pre fabrication inspection and release.
- Read structural steel drawings and GA's
- Knowledge of CSA 47.1 and W59 codes and standards.
- Material receiving inspection and verification.
- Review the welder qualification record.
- Monitoring welding and carrying out final weld visual inspection.
- Verifying all NDT completion releasing the steel for assembly.
- Final module steel assembly inspection and witnessing applicable bolt torque.
- Review weld mapping and as-built drawings.
- Review shipping release package and issue shipping release.

**Requirements**:

- CWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years of experience.
- Structural steel shop or fab shop experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks.
- Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office.
- Self-motivated, organized and able to work in a high-pressure deadline-driven environment.
- Reading structural drawing and understand Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
