Retail Sales Associate

New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice on merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandise Management: Maintain sales records for inventory control, prepare merchandise for purchase, and assist in display of merchandise.
- Sales Transactions: Operate cash register, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Inventory Control: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, and physically demanding.
- Personal Suitability: Efficiency, outgoing, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, excellent oral communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
