Food Service Supervisor

SAUJANI ENTERPRISES Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent any issues from arising.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
Work EnvironmentWork in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Physical DemandsPhysically demanding role that requires bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Personal SuitabilityExcellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions- Work Site Environment
Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
Work SettingFast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
TasksEstablish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
