Job Summary

SAUJANI ENTERPRISES Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including servers, counter attendants, and kitchen helpers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have what we need to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high quality standards, and that our restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Assist with the preparation of budgets and reports to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a combination of bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
