**About Orla Mining Ltd.**

We are a gold producer with a geographically diversified asset base, a prospective development and exploration portfolio, an experienced management team with a successful track record, and a high-quality board and shareholder base.

We operate the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a low-cost operation located in Mexico. This mine is 100% owned by us and covers over 139,000 hectares. We also have a feasibility-stage project, South Railroad Project, located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada.

In addition, we've entered into an agreement to acquire the Musselwhite Mine, located in Northern Ontario. This project has great potential in a tier-one mining jurisdiction, and with more than 25 years of proven track record.

This role will be based at our regional office in Thunder Bay and will be responsible for managing the site's finance, accounting, and treasury-related activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Directs and manages financial processes across the site to ensure timely and relevant financial data delivery to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversees analysis of historical and future cost information for informed decision-making.
  • Prepares local statutory financial statements and coordinates with external auditors for timely reporting and compliance.
  • Supports business planning activities for the site, coordinating budget process quality reviews.
  • Manages record keeping for capital assets, ensuring proper valuation, identification, and periodic inventory.
  • Establishes and implements accounting standards, procedures, and policies for alignment across the site and with Corporate.
  • Manages sales, receivables, SOX compliance, and Accounts Payable processes.

**Requirements:**

  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • At least 15 years' work experience, with minimum 10 years in a similar capacity.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' mining experience with thorough understanding of mining terminology.

**Additional Information:

The schedule is 5x2, working 8-hour days.
