As Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership in areas of financial planning and analysis, accounting, and internal control. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to develop and implement financial plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your expertise in financial reporting and control management will be essential in advising, training, and educating hospital staff on budgetary planning, information systems, and MIS standards. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a central database of funding and service agreements, ensuring dissemination of information to appropriate clinical areas and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of financial statement reporting to the leadership team
  • Develop detailed annual operating budgets in collaboration with senior management
  • Liaise with multiple funding agencies (e.g., MOHLTC, TCLHIN, Foundation, etc.)
  • Coordinate and submit all external reporting requirements of various funding agencies
  • Monitor emerging accounting standards and implement as required

Requirements

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CMA, or CGA) designation coupled with a Degree in business or relevant program of study
  • Master's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or equivalent desirable
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
