About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Counter Clerk to join our team at Jelschen Foods Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide advice on merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Food Preparation: Wrap and package prepared meats, slice cooked meats, and prepare meals to meet customer demands.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of merchandise to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
  • Sales Records: Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control and to inform purchasing decisions.
Work Environment

As a Deli Counter Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Language: English.
