Deli Counter Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Counter Sales Associate to join our team at Jelschen Foods Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient ordering processes.
- Provide expert advice to customers on various meat products, including cuts, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Assist in the display of merchandise, including arranging and maintaining attractive displays of meats and other products.
- Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that orders are fulfilled promptly.
- Wrap and package prepared meats, including slicing cooked meats and preparing meals for customers.
- Package take-out food and other prepared items for customers.
- Perform food preparation tasks, including slicing, dicing, and marinating meats.
As a Deli Counter Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and colleagues in a dynamic and team-oriented setting.
Requirements- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role, as you will be handling and preparing food products.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required.
