About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Pedagogy Lead to join our team on an 8-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our Ontario learning resources team, you will champion pedagogical excellence and contribute to strategic planning for upcoming mathematics projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Leads to develop pedagogical requirements for lessons
  • Review and provide feedback on initial lesson and question scripts from contributors
  • Develop skills and capabilities in the Editing team to enable efficient script checking with a focus on Mathematics
  • Coach the Editing team to provide feedback to Contributing Writers and improve pedagogical standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication with Contributing Writers and the internal Delivery team
  • Provide training and onboarding processes for contractors to meet EP standards through the lens of Learning Design
  • Assess the effectiveness of levelling in project resources
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new projects
  • Collaborate with the Head of Content Design to identify and develop resources or training needs in regards to Learning Design
About You
  • Ontario Certified Teacher with experience teaching Grades 3-8 in the classroom
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate writers and editors to achieve high-quality results and deliver projects on time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships
  • A team player with a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working
