Job Title: Press Operators Supervisor, Printing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Press Operators Supervisor to join our team at Helix Impressions Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of printing machine operators, ensuring the smooth operation of our printing facilities, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of printing machine operators to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the operation of printing equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
  • Review and approve job proofs and samples to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet production demands and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recommend personnel actions and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Provide technical and professional advice to team members and management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a printing or related industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines. They will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
