Job Title: Drywall Installer

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids, and ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to specifications
  • Install drywall sheets, ensuring a secure and even fit
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers, and metal studs
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
