Drywall Installation Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids, and ensuring a smooth and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in a dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
