Equipment Rental Specialist Job Description

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Equipment Rental Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine customer equipment needs through questioning and qualifying
  • Negotiate price and volume of original orders
  • Place high volumes of equipment orders
  • Administer rental contracts
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Support sales and marketing efforts
  • Record details of calls and maintain lost rent logs
  • Review daily management reports and provide feedback to the Profit Center Manager
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
  • Previous equipment rental industry experience
  • Knowledge about parts and equipment
  • Strong customer service & telephone skills
  • Solid computer and administrative skills
