Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Health Worker II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and planning and preparing meals, while promoting maximum independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and planning and preparing meals
  • Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed
  • Ensure the well-being of individuals and families and promote independent living while in the community
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
  • Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry
  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License
  • Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
  • Use of personal vehicle
