About the Role

Fidelity Clearing Canada is seeking an experienced App Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our agile delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-level application components and data flows that support our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and author application components that are secure, reusable, and scalable, aligning with our enterprise architecture principles.
  • Provide technical leadership and advise stakeholders on architecture decisions, challenges, and rationalization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets business requirements and is well integrated with enterprise assets.
  • Participate in agile meetings to discuss planning, blockers, and report progress on major issues.
Requirements
  • Completed University Degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 7+ years' experience within IT, preferably a development background.
  • 2+ years within a designer or architect position.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to deliver solutions.
  • Experience in straight through processing (STP) of business processes in a financial domain.
  • Strong technical insight and experience to inform, guide, challenge, and support technical decisions.
Preferred Skills
  • Significant experience in BPM design and STP use cases involving account onboarding, form generation, e-signature, business rules, document management.
  • Expert knowledge of one or more BPM/iBPM/workflow platforms.
  • Strong experience with full stack web applications.
  • Strong technical skills required to prototype and review developer code.
