About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Division, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Braidwood Tavern, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and control the work of employees in the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach staff to meet established cultural and core standards.
- Provide visible leadership in the operation, promote good public relations, and handle guest complaints and concerns.
- Reports to the Restaurant Manager and works closely with F&B leadership to design effective menus and amenity options.
- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met, and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Responsibility for employee scheduling, proper and sufficient staffing, and labor standards.
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of the Resort.
- At least 2 years previous experience in a supervisory or management level position in Food & Beverage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership & organizational skills required.
- Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada.
