Operations Supervisor Job Description

Travelodge Bracebridge is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to employees, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate and assign work tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be completed, ensuring that our facility remains in good working order.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units and departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Environment:

Our facility is a fast-paced environment, and as an Operations Supervisor, you will be expected to work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve goals. You will be required to work a 35-40 hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position.
