Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan Langford. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Manage Customer ServiceAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
Prepare ReportsPrepare and submit reports as required, including reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is required.
CertificationsA Safe Food Handling certificate is required.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work EnvironmentThis is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The work setting is a fast food outlet or concession, and the ability to stand for extended periods is required.
