About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Langford - Belmont. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain our high standards.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and establish work schedules to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

30 to 40 hours per week is the typical work schedule for this role.
