Job Summary:

The Curatorial Assistant will provide administrative and curatorial support to our curatorial team, assisting with the research, handling, and storage of artifacts, as well as the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the research, handling, and storage of artifacts
  • Assist with the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events
  • Classify and assign registration numbers to artifacts and supervise inventory control
  • Prepare and mount skins of birds or animals for preservation, scientific or display purposes
  • Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit and in storage
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of museum and gallery practices
  • Fluency in multiple languages
