About the Job

MCF Highrise Forming Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Work Environment

The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a large workload, physically demanding tasks, and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be accurate, have good judgement, and be reliable.
