Pineoak Construction Inc. - Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Pineoak Construction Inc. in English.

Job Summary

The Carpenter will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites, instructing apprentices, supervising other workers, and estimating costs and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Work Setting

The Carpenter will work in a construction environment, preparing estimates, scheduling work, and supervising other workers.

Tasks
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
Supervision

The Carpenter will be supervised by 1 to 2 people.

Transportation/Travel Information

The Carpenter must be willing to travel.
