Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at BOLT Telecommunications Inc.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents as required
  • Perform other accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
