Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team at Circle Medical Technologies. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits, located in our Montreal, Quebec office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the timely execution and review of month-end activities, including preparing month-end accruals, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Process accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, reviewing expense reports and corporate credit cards, ensuring proper coding of expenses, and processing payment.
- Reconcile A/R subledger.
- Process bi-weekly Canadian payroll and record entries related to Canadian and US entities.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly GST/QST returns.
- Respond to transactional accounting questions and identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, providing data to auditors, and responding to audit queries.
- Support the Controller with special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce with a major in Accounting.
- CPA accounting designation, or enrolled in a CPA designation path.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping/full cycle accounting.
