Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and management of the budgeting process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver month-end financial reporting packages and analysis, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of monthly bank reporting packages, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reporting packages and analysis, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly board reporting packages and analysis, providing a comprehensive overview of the company's financial performance.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of year-end reporting packages and analysis, ensuring a thorough review of the company's financial performance.
  • Analyze operational trends, including inventory, sales, costs, and employee data, to identify areas for improvement and optimize business performance.
  • Manage and organize financial reporting records in a secure and accessible file storage system.
  • Develop and maintain the reporting brand and formatting, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
  • Conduct merger and acquisition analysis, providing strategic recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Implement best practices for reporting and analysis, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), providing financial expertise and guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration with a major in finance or accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power BI, Dataverse, Power Automate, etc.) and NetSuite or similar ERP experience.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with the ability to clean, transform, and preprocess data using tools like Power Query, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and data with a strong attention to detail.
  • Expertise in data analysis programming languages such as SQL, Python, DAX, and M.
  • Experience working with AI and machine learning to automate report generation, predictive analytics, and risk/trend identification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
