About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Banking Vice President to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Investment Banking Coverage Team, you will be responsible for managing our global business relationships with large multinational clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a client and product strategy to drive growth in our FIG/sponsor coverage Canada franchise
  • Support the growth of a selective portfolio of Large Cap Corporate accounts
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive deal flow and cross-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate with business line product specialists to develop and implement client initiatives
  • Track and manage live deals and pitch communications for current and prospective clients
  • Prepare and present business cases and client profitability analysis to stakeholders
  • Conduct profitability analysis and advanced Excel modeling for prospective transactions
  • Develop and maintain client profiles and conduct special sector studies as needed
  • Communicate with clients to gather and update Know Your Client documents
  • Prepare and present client presentations and corporate finance data
  • Travel to industry presentations and client meetings as needed

**Requirements:**

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to write succinctly and convincingly
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance skillset
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 6-8 years of prior work experience in investment banking, corporate banking, corporate finance, transaction services, asset management, or consulting

**Nice to Have:**

  • Proficient in computer-based research tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters)
  • Knowledge of bank products
  • Strong personal drive and self-motivation

**Language:** English (ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement)
