Job Description

Fidelity Canada is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for mentoring multiple Agile teams and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of products or services using Agile methods.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban, and will be able to facilitate Agile processes like Sprints and standups across multiple teams. They will also work closely with other roles like Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and engineering leads to enable continuous delivery of valuable increments that delight customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach Agile teams on Agile practices, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members.
  • Facilitate alignment on priorities and progress by coordinating key events like Sprint Planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews across teams.
  • Remove impediments and resolve escalated issues to keep teams productive.
  • Oversee end-to-end flow by tracking dependencies and work in progress, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
  • Make tough decisions on priority conflicts and tradeoffs to deliver maximum business value.
  • Develop and communicate consolidated agile portfolio level updates to the Senior Executive Team and other key stakeholder groups.
Requirements
  • University Degree / College or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.
  • Product Owner Certification.
  • 3+ years' experience working in Agile teams, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
  • Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or PMI-ACP.
  • Leadership experience coordinating multiple teams with diverse skillsets.
  • Experience guiding teams through conflict resolution and change.
  • Excellent grasp of Agile values, principles, and practices, including experience facilitating events like Sprint Planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Financial Services experience, Canadian Securities Course or Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course is an asset.
  • Advanced Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master II certification is an asset.
