Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Staff Anesthesiologist to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital. As a member of our Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a tertiary healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Completed applicable sub-specialty fellowship training
  • Current clinical expertise in a tertiary healthcare setting
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
