Staff Anesthesiologist Opportunity

About the Role:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Vancouver Acute. As a Staff Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a tertiary healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Completed applicable sub-specialty fellowship training
  • Current clinical expertise in a tertiary healthcare setting
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
