Department: Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at Vancouver Acute

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital. As a member of our department, you will be involved in all aspects of adult anesthesia sub-specialty care, including perioperative medicine, intraoperative anesthesia care, critical care, and pain management in an academic and quaternary care setting.

Our department is one of the largest anesthesia departments in Canada, with over 70 members providing all anesthesia care at Vancouver Acute's two acute care hospitals. We are actively involved in Quality Improvement, Research, and Education of medical students, residents, and sub-specialty fellows.

The successful candidate will have eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, completed applicable sub-specialty fellowship training, and current clinical expertise in a tertiary healthcare setting.
