About the Opportunity

Lethbridge School Division is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a casual employee, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, supporting the success of children and students from early education to grade 12.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver support within the division's Response to Instruction and Intervention framework (RTI2)
  • Provide universal strategies to support all students in inclusive classrooms
  • Facilitate skill development through play-based activities
  • Assess and provide therapeutic programming based on referral
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
  • Complete assessment and treatment reports
  • Recommend services based on data
  • Collaborate with other therapists and specialists

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Registration with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Eligibility for certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC)
  • Experience working in an educational setting preferred
  • Class 5 driver's license
