About the Role

Palliser School Division is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a temporary basis. As an SLP with Palliser, you will be responsible for providing clinical professional practice and rehabilitation services to students across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provide clinical professional practice independently and as part of a collaborative team\
  • Offer services within a full scope of practice including health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management\
  • Participate in planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with students, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners\
  • Work schedule follows the school calendar with Christmas, Easter, and summer break observed\
  • 35-hour work week\
  • Service provided by a combination of in-person and virtual delivery\
  • Travel costs reimbursed based on approved rates\
  • Specific service priorities determined by school division partners funding the services\
  • FTE annual salary ranges between $89,860 – $99,319 depending on experience\
  • ASEBP benefits available for positions more than 0.5 FTE\
  • LAPP pension available for positions more than 0.8 FTE\

Qualifications:

  • A police information check; including Vulnerable Sector Check\
  • A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from Alberta Children's Services\
