We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Booking Coordinator to join our team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for booking patient appointments, registering patients for Medical Imaging, and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Book patient appointments and register patients for Medical Imaging in a confidential and professional manner
  • Collect and document relevant patient information, including medical history and contact details
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, and patients to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Monitor and prioritize work demands in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and department
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum one year of experience in an office environment, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of Cerner registration and scheduling software, Microsoft Word, and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
