Housekeeping Operations Manager

The Housekeeping Lead is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and assign daily work tasks to the custodial team, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
- Oversee the completion of tasks assigned to the custodial team and ensure the quality of work meets Aramark standards.
- Partner with department leadership to address performance deficiencies of the custodial team.
- Participate in training and re-training of employees as needed.
- Clean assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards and requirements.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and clutter-free work environment to mitigate safety hazards.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with accredited agencies and Aramark regulations.
- Ensure the security of company assets and facility, ensuring doors and equipment storage areas are locked/unlocked as required.
Aramark is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
Requirements- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Previous custodial experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures.
