Job Summary
The Quality Inspector – Level 1 position at Linamar Corporation is a critical role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality control processes. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products and assisting with quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify defects and nonconformities
- Assist with quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards
- Develop and implement quality control processes to improve product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality audits
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent general education
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to use measuring equipment effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of TS-16949 requirements
- Experience with CMM and other quality control equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
