OPENLANE Canada is the largest wholesale vehicle auction and remarketing services company in the country, operating 14 state-of-the-art facilities across Canada.

We are seeking a reliable Casual Transport Driver to join our team at OPENLANE Calgary, working up to 24 hours per week. As a well-organized team player with a clean Driver's Abstract, you will drive vehicles to and from the auction, representing the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles to and from the auction, reporting to OPENLANE in the morning and traveling in a van with a lead driver to various dealerships to pick-up vehicles and deliver them to the auction.
  • Ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes.
  • Accurately complete relevant paperwork and maintain contact with customers to ensure smooth transition of vehicle pick-ups and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Driver abstract required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and days of week.
  • Must be willing to take out of town trips.
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills and familiar with mobile technology.
  • Must be a reliable team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and highly organized with attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
