Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Assembly Technician to join our team at Ashton Tire Ltd. As an Automotive Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining motor vehicle parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain motor vehicle parts and components, including bolts, screws, clips, welds, and soldering.
  • Operate and tend automated assembling equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
  • Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Inspect auto parts for defects and ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected.
  • Test motor vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance.
  • Drive and test motor vehicles on roll testing devices to ensure that transmission, axle, engine, and brakes function properly.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and noisy environments.
