Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Assembly Technician to join our team at Ashton Tire Ltd. As an Automotive Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for installing and assembling motor vehicle parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining the workspace.
  • Assemble Motor Vehicle Parts: Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder, or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together.
  • Operate Automated Equipment: Operate and tend automated assembling equipment to assemble motor vehicle parts.
  • Inspect and Test: Inspect auto parts for defects and test motor vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance.
  • Ensure Quality: Ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected and that motor vehicles are assembled to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, dusty, and noisy work site environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
