About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at 1555112 Ontario Inc. as a Vehicle Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit, and inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Transportation and Travel: Valid driver's licence.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility.
