Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at De afric restaurant Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting our quality and presentation expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Order and manage kitchen supplies, ensuring we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
