Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest information.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Staff Accommodation: Provided.
- Urban Area: Hotel, motel, resort setting.
- Public Transportation: Available.
