Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a skilled carpenter to work on various construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per yearResponsibilities- Carpentry Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Installation and Maintenance: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, survey building locations and levels, and maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
