Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be working in a noisy and wet/damp environment, with exposure to odours and hot temperatures.

Work Setting:

Our restaurant is located in a busy commercial area, with a high volume of customers. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be working in a restaurant setting, with a focus on providing exceptional service and ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
