Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM + on-call/after-hours when required
Salary: $50,000 to $52,000
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining desktop/laptop, point of sale equipment, and peripherals, printers, monitors, entertainment systems, etc. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing hardware break-fix services on PCs, laptops, network printers, and servers, etc.
- Performing IMAC (installs, moves, adds, changes) services: hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other hardware deployment-related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, POS devices, etc.
- Handling software installation/support/upgrades.
- Performing deskside support services installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Performing basic LAN and internetworking-related activities.
- Responding to and updating calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
- Performing warranty service calls for both commercial and residential clients.
- Performing other types of service calls from our Dispatch/Call Center as required.
Requirements:
- A+ Certification
- 2 - 3 years of IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services relating to laptops, printers, POS devices, etc.
- 2 - 3 years of break-fix experience
- 2 - 3 years of deskside support experience
- 2 - 3 years of printer experience
- A minimum of an IT diploma from a recognized school
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle at all times
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills
