About the Role
We are seeking self-motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Journeymen Powerline Technicians and Apprentices at Drayton Valley, AB. As a member of our dynamic team, you will provide crucial support to our projects.
Requirements
- Qualified Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technician.
- Class 5 license minimum, with preference given to 1 & 3 license.
- Experience in climbing wood pole structures.
- Experience/training in craning and rigging.
- 25kV Rubber Glove experience considered an asset.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Experience working on ATCO and Fortis utility systems.
- Working at Heights.
- Familiar with operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment.
- Experience in maintenance and construction of distribution lines, coupled with the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Qualified switchman for ATCO and Fortis systems considered an asset.
- Willing to travel and work extended hours.
- Safety oriented.
- Positive Attitude and good work ethic.
