Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to join our Karahi Point team as a Food Service Team Lead. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and efficient operations.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a positive reputation for Karahi Point.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional service experiences.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, inventory management, and quality control metrics.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation.
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift. You will be expected to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, efficient oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
