Operations Team Lead

Cardinal Health, a leading healthcare supply chain company in Canada, is seeking a highly skilled Operations Team Lead to join our Dorval distribution center. As a key member of our Outbound and Stockless team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of operations on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute daily operations, including pick, pack, ship, and receive tasks, while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to ensure seamless coordination and efficient flow of operations on the floor.
- Train new and existing employees on work practices and procedures, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assign and direct work on the floor, responding to complaints and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Coach employees on quality and productivity metrics, driving improvement and excellence.
- Maintain open communication with employees, relaying key messages and participating in team meetings.
- Assist in tracking employee performance to ensure adherence to production, quality, and attendance standards.
- Post-secondary education (DEC) and 3 years of experience in operations or distribution.
- Fluency in English and French (written and oral).
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work with computers (JDE, AIMS).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and multi-tasking.
- Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma Methodologies/Continuous Improvement is an asset.
