About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at KTX Transport. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Prepare and process financial transactions, including payroll and accounts payable
    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Financial Analysis
    • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
    • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Skills
    • Accurate and detail-oriented
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in accounting software and technology
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The language of work is English.
