About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Hillcrest & Parkland Players Ltd. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage employee benefits and compensation.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Quick Books, and MS Office.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Familiarity with scanners and other financial equipment.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and adaptability skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong client focus, organized, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
