Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the dishwasher, ensuring that all loads are washed and sanitized to the highest standards
  • Wash dishes, glasses, and cookware by hand as needed
  • Report any malfunctions or breakages to the kitchen manager
  • Store clean items in their designated areas
  • Sort and remove garbage and recycling
  • Clean all general kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and workspaces
  • Assist with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves
  • Prepare food products as requested
  • Liaise with operational departments to ensure seamless communication
  • Develop strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and team members
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

This is a regular kitchen environment with standing and walking for long periods. You will be exposed to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, and bending. Some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, and risk of minor cuts and burns is also possible.
